I am always up for a good read on health and wellness. I know there are a lot of different thoughts out there on what constitutes healthy…but this book has an interesting take on how much control we really have over our health. The authors believe that many of our day to day choices have a very strong impact on our health and wellness…extending to our genes and passed on to future generations.
Much of the information seemed like common sense or were things that I had heard before about healthy living. But this book seemed to provide extra motivation to make those changes. The authors even break down the changes that can be made into different levels … from easy choices to harder choice or experimental choices.
The authors are able to take complicated scientific studies and make them easy to understand. Definitely an interesting read. Not a book I need to own, but one that I’m glad I read.
I received this book from the Blogging for Books program in exchange for this review. I did not receive any other compensation. All thoughts in this post are my own.
